This century old home needed a lot of attention. The client wanted to maintain the character of the home with a contemporary update. Work included lowering the basement floor to create a 10ft ceiling, custom wood work throughout the home, weather proofing the entire home and renovating every square foot. Working with the client we designed a plan that fit within their lifestyle, budget and timing.

With 2 little children this family needed us to complete aspects of the home within a certain time so they could move back in. We built a plan with them that worked to complete the main floor and bedroom level first. Once complete and the family was able to move back in, we worked on the remainder of the home. The Attic level was converted to a small residence for in-laws, nanny or even rental income and the basement was converted to a 10ft ceiling living space - complete with kitchen, full washroom, bedroom and large open area.
